I am really excited about our daily 5 this year. The kids really enjoy Daily 5. I just ordered timers for each student in the class to keep in their book boxes. Now when they read to self they can set goals and set the timers to help them reach those goals as they build stamina. The kids are loving it! They are also graphing their progress to see their growth.

1) is there a website where I can find those reading timers (i like the fact that I can store them back in a case)?
2) Could you please share an image of your reading exit tickets?
and last but not least...
3) I have been organizing my read allows for the year and saw that you had organised them by topics, could you possibly share your methodology?
I understand these questions are quite specific but this is going to be my first year teaching 3rd grade in the US and I want to be able to hit the ground running.
